Goodmorning dreamers,

today I would like to show you the swatches from the last online purchase I did with Federica on Nabla Cosmetics. Since there was some discount for the launch of the new summer collectionButterlfly Valley” we bought 6 of the 8 new eyeshadows and even 4 Diva Crime lipsticks. I will write a post on Monday for the lipsticks, now let’s talk about these eyeshadows. As always MrDaniel proposed innovative texture and colours and he always surprises me. For this collection he decided to propose both warm and cold shades, together with a bright eyeshadow that can be used to light up any makeup. I really liked almost all of these colours, and I think that the main problem is finding the right combinations using only colours from this collection.

Below you will be able to read my first impressions about each colour.

Let me know in the comments below what to think about these eyeshadows! ;)

Moonrise: these is one of the colours that impressed me the most from the beginning since I do not have many greys in my arsenal and this looked perfect. You can use it alone (wet) for a night out, or for a smokey eyes with a bright eyeshadow in the middle (like Dreamer, which you can see HERE) or as a transaction colour in the crease.

Babylon: it is a pretty dark petroleum-blue and it is not easy to find a similar colour. This colour is pretty buildable and it can become more intense bu applying 2/3 wet coats. I used it alone on the lid, but I am curious to try it with Pegasus or Zoe because they can make it easier to use during the day.

Pegasus: these duochrome is perfect to create a light point on the eyelid. It is a pastel lavender with gold/champagne reflections and it is simply beautiful. It is very easy to use; once applied it immediately gives brightness to your eye.

Unrestricted: I did not take into consideration this colour from the pictures of the press release since it seemed a “normal” burgundy, but when I first its swatch I completely fell in love. The colour is a dark burgundy with super intense gold reflections that make it more elegant. It is easy to apply and blend and the colour is very versatile.

The last two colours were bought by Federica so I cannot give you a lot of details! I did not buy them because usually I do not look good with these kinds of colours.

Clementine: a tangerine colour with beautiful gold reflections.  It is a colour that you can use on the eyelid and blend it with a darker colour like Unrestricted on the outer lid like Federica did. Its only flaw is that the colour is not very intense.

Peach Velvet: it is a matte peach colour perfect to use in the crease as a transition colour for you makeup. It is a very warm shade, thus perfect for summer. I do not think that every girl could use it, but I think that it looks great with tanned skin.
