Swatches Kiko Generation Next

Buongiorno dupers,

oggi vorrei farvi vedere alcuni swatches degli ultimi prodotti che ho acquistato: il Cool Touch Eyeshadow n. 8 e il Crystal Eyeliner n. 3 della primavera/estate 2015 collezione Generation Next di Kiko. La prima volta che ho addocchiato questa limited edition in negozio sono rimasta subito colpita dalla luminosità dei packaging e dall’aria “futuristica” che circondava i prodottti. Kiko, infatti, per il concept di questa linea, si è ispirata al profilo minimale dei dettagli geometrici proponendo prodotti dinamici, moderni e dalle texture e colori innovativi.

Dato che da un po’ di tempo ero alla ricerca di un ombretto grigio con riflessi particolari da applicare su tutta la palpebra, ho deciso di comprare l’ombretto Ingenious Taupe e insieme ho acquistato anche uno dei Crystal Eyeliner in un colore burgundy perchè mi ispirava molto la texture.

Vicino ai rispettivi swatches dei prodotti trovate una mia breve recensione su questi prodotti, che sicuramente a breve saranno acquistabili anche in sconto. Fatemi sapere nei commenti se vi piacciono i colori e le texture dei prodotti che ho scelto e se avete comprato anche voi qualcosa di questa limited edition.

today I would like to show you some swaches of the latest product I bought: the Cool Touch Eyeshadow n.8 and the Crystal Eyeliner n. 3 from the s/s 2015 collection Generation Next by Kiko. The first time I saw this limited edtion in the store I was impressed by the packaging’s luminosity and the “futuristic” atmosphere that was surrounding the products. Indeed the concept of this line, was inspired by the minimal details of geometric designs, and Kiko has proposed dinamic and modern product with innovative colours and textures.

Since I had been looking for a while for a pretty grey eyeshadow that could be applied all over the lid, I decided to buy the eyeshadow Ingenious Taupe together with a burgundy Crystal Eyeliner.

Below you will find my bref review on this products near the pictures of their swatches. You can still find them at Kiko stores and I think that soon they will be on sale. Crystal Eyeliner – 03 Reflect Burgundy

Questa è una matita automatica a lunga tenuta dal finish metalizzato. E’ disponibile in 6 colorazioni e io ho scelto di comprare quella color burgundy dato che mi mancava una matita di questo colore che amo alla follia. L’applicazione di quest prodotto è molto semplice, ha un tratto deciso e rilascia subito i suoi riflessi, inoltre la sua texture cremosa ne facilita notevolmente la stesura. L’unico problema che ho notato durante la sua applicazione in combinazione con l’ombretto della stessa linea è stata la poca scrivenza; problema che però non ho riscontrato con altri ombretti e che quindi è probabilmente dovuta alla base d’acqua presente nell’ombretto della Generation Next. ;) Questo prodotto è a lunghissima durata, l’ho indossata dal mattino alla sera e, oltre a non avere nessuna sbavatura, il colore era ancora molto intenso. L’unico forse vero difetto è che risulta difficile rimuovere completamente questo colore, ma un buon struccante bifasico riuscirà ad aiutarvi nell’impresa. Inoltre nel fondo della matita è anche nascosto un utilissimo temperino; per 6,90€ direi che è ottimo! :) Qui potete vedere gli altri colori dei Crystal Eyeliner.

This is a longlasting eye-pencil with a metallic finish. It is available in 6 colours and I decided to buy the number 03, a beautiful burgundy that was missing in my eye-pencil “collection”. This product is very easy to apply, the line is very strong and it immediately realeases its reflections. Moreover the creamy texture simplifies a lot the application of each layer. The only problem I found during its application combined with the eyeshadow from the same collection was the lack of colour on the lid. Instead of starting to get depressed I decided to try it with other eyeshadows, only to find out that with them worked perfectly. I think that all of this is due to the presence of a strong water base in the first eyeshadow I tried it with. ;) Going on with my review I can say that this product has an extreme duration, since I wore it from 6am to 21pm without noticing any fallout and with the colour as bright as in the morning. I think that the only flaw I could find to this product is the difficulty I found in removing it! I had to use a strong make-up remover but in the end I was able to do it. Finally another cool thing about this product is the presence of a pencil sharpener hidden in the tip. The price for this amazing product is only 6,90€! :) Here you can see the other colours of the Crystal Eyeliner.

Cool Touch Eyeshadow – 08 Ingenious Taupe

La prima cosa che mi è colpita di questo ombretto è la consistenza molto particolare; a prima vista sembra quasi cremosa ma, una volta messo sul dito, mi sono accorta che non era cremosa ma morbidissima e “fresca”. Ho poi steso il colore sulla mano e sono rimasta colpita dai riflessi che aveva tirato fuori e dall’effetto che faceva a contatto con la mia pelle, diverso da qualsiasi altro ombretto avessi mai provato. L’ho comprato molto incuriosita sperando in una buona durata e in un bell’effetto anche sull’occhio e ho portato a casa un tesoro del makeup. xD Il prodotto si applica facilmente e si sfuma benissimo sia con il pennello che con le dita e dura moltissimo sulla palpebra senza però perdere questa specie di effetto bagnato che lo rende così particolare. Infine, per quanto riguarda il packaging, l’ombretto è protetto da un coperchio in plastica che serve a conservarne la consistenza ed è anche dotato di uno specchio al suo interno che ne facilita l’utilizzo fuori casa insieme al pennellino in dotazione. Sto pensando di acquistarlo anche in un’altra colorazione ma sono super indecisa dato che sono tutti stupendi! :P Qui potete vedere gli altri colori della linea, anche se dal vivo sono tutta un’altra cosa.

The first thing that impressed me about this eyeshadow was the particular texture. At first sight the texture almost seemed cremy but after I put it on my finger it turned out that it was not creamy but simply soft and “fresh”. Then I applied the colour on my hand to find out that it had a sort of “water effect” with amazing reflections.  I bought it because I was looking for trying it on my lid hoping in a nice effect; well now I can say that I brought home a makeup treasure. xD I easily applied and blended this product both with brushes or my fingers and either way it lasted all day without losing this sort of “water effect“ that makes it so beautiful. Finally, as you can notice from the pictures below, the eyeshadow is protected by a plastic cover which is needed to preserve its texture. The packaging is then completed by a mirror and a useful mini brush that make it easier to use for re-touches during the day. I would like to buy other colours from this collection but I love all of them so I am pretty uncertain! :P Here you can see all the colours this line offers but I think you should go to a Kiko store to admire them in all their beauty.
